project:HOMES improves the lives and living conditions of low income seniors, disabled residents and qualified homeowners in Central Virginia by making critical home repairs and improvements and by building high quality, affordable homes.
The Renew Crew Program, a special volunteer program of project:HOMES, utilizes community volunteers to tackle smaller projects, install grab bars and ADA toilets, repair porches and floors, clear overgrown yards, demolish unsafe outbuildings, cure code violations and build wheelchair ramps.
The Renew Crew is sponsored into the 2011 Miller & Rhoads Charity Christmas Tree Contest by Capitol Oil.

St. Andrew’s School educates children (K-5) of limited resources through a balanced academic, social, and spiritual experience shaped by the Episcopal tradition and inspired by Christian faith.
Miss Arents, niece of businessman and philanthropist Lewis Ginter, carefully researched education and the needs of children, as she believed in providing an academic, social, physical, and spiritual foundation as a means to a brighter future. St. Andrew’s School was created as a result of her vision.
Today, fully accredited through the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, we continue to provide a free, quality education to children of limited financial resources in the Richmond metropolitan area.
